Hilton Leeds City sought to enhance the aesthetic appeal and overall guest experience within their hotel by incorporating interior planting. The primary objectives were to create a more welcoming and relaxing environment and align with Hilton’s sustainability initiatives. The Solution
Working with Bell & Swift, a strategic interior planting plan was developed to seamlessly integrate greenery into key hotel areas. The approach included:
- Lobby & Reception: Statement planters with tall, lush greenery such as fiddle-leaf figs and kentia palms to create an inviting first impression.
- Restaurant & Bar Area: Tabletop succulents and hanging planters with trailing plants like pothos and ivy to enhance ambiance without obstructing views.
All plant selections were chosen for their low-maintenance needs, durability in indoor conditions, and positive impact on air quality. The installation was carried out with sustainable, self-watering containers to minimize maintenance efforts and water usage.
